The Month in Review: May’s Top Posts

It’s that time again… the time when I reflect on the month gone by and take a little google at the ol’ analytics. If you are new here, at the start of each month I share a countdown of the most popular posts from the previous month. Today we will be looking at May’s Top posts. It’s just a fun way to see where people have been clicking, both old and new.

May was a busy month in our lives. I wrapped up dance with 7 recitals. 2 of my kids had birthdays, my hubby had his birthday, and we also celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary. yep… May is a popular month in our house! My hubby also met some major deadlines with the feature film project, She Has a Name, that he is co-producing, directing and editing. He’s kind of one of those amaz-a-crazy jack of all trades.

I am always thankful that this busy season is ended with warm summery days and nights. I got my garden planted, though it did get a little beaten up from an ice storm. However, most things are recovering, and my garden sowed seedlings are peeking their little heads. I am always especially excited for the zinnias and sunflowers to pop up. I transplanted a pile of strawberries from a farm patch garden- as well as some raspberries. Many of them did quite well and are nicely established. I still have plans to enlarge my garden with a few second sewings of carrots, peas, lettuce, and a few more potatoes I have yet to get in the ground. I am also planning to grow a few more flower varieties for fresh cut garden arrangements.

Well friends, I am pooped. May also marked moving my newly 2 year old into her toddler bed, and let’s just say it isn’t going that great. Bed time is taking hours most evenings, and I am left feeling pretty spent by the time that little munchkin is in bed. Her talking has just exploded, so it’s often pretty hard to keep a straight face for long, but I am hoping she settles back into her nice routine.
