Today marks day one of the new format I am going to be implementing here at Mamas Dance. A brief recap:

So today (night) is Friday and that means, it’s time to share some of my fave things from. the. intranet. I am not exactly sure where this format will lead, but, tonight I suppose it will begin to take shape.
I have talked a lot about my love for refinishing pretty much anything… I love to create, paint, sew… And I especially love to refinish furniture. I love taking a piecea and transforming it into something completely different (yet the same) with a coat of paint, new hard ware and a good sanding block. I’m learning as I go, but loving the process!
I have recently come across Miss Mustard Seed. She does some really neat things with furniture, and they all seem to have a fresh sense of calm to them. On Monday she shared her office space. Take a peak, and you will see why it was my top pic for tonight’s post!

The name is inspired by a bible verse, which is referenced in the word art above. That might be one of my favorite parts. I love when passion, inspiration, and life converge. She is an inspirational woman, who is so creative, and I enjoy perusing her latest pieces.

Happy Weekend. We’ll be busy working on our kitchen! Upper Cabinets are in with some Base Cabinets. We’ll be getting our Oak Counter Tops this weekend, and hopefully in by Monday. Once counter tops are in we’ll be putting in the bead board backsplash, cabinet moulding+valance. Whew! Lot’s to think about.
I’m going to leave you with a little homework. I am torn as to whether I should paint the backsplash white, or a soft hue in blue/ocean/seafoam something. So, I am making a poll and would love for you, who ever you are, to weigh in!
