As the summer got underway, I missed sharing all of the wedding flowers I designed, here on the blog! I so enjoy sharing them with you, and I thought flowers would be a nice thing to see during these winter months. With that in mind I’ll be sharing several posts over the next few weeks…
In case you are new here, or missed the announcement- last summer I embarked on the journey of starting up a floral business with a friend. We offer A La Cart wedding design, and we also grow and sell our own flowers through bouquet subscriptions. Our company is called “Meadow” and we are nearly one year old!
I designed these flowers for my sister’s wedding, and had so much fun doing so. She was married in a greenhouse and it was truly a stunning setting. They are such a relaxed, happy couple and their wedding day reflected that so well!
My sister reallly wanted peonies- and the timing worked our perfectly for her. We had some really generous people that let us snip from their bushes- and Ang (my business partner) drove around collecting them all! Peonies give such a romantic, garden feel to a bridal bouquet.
It’s snowing like mad at the moment- and this time of year I start to daydream about spring and look through seed catalogues to get me through. Anyone else?
