It’s hard to believe we are nearing the end of another year! Things kind of whizzed by for us this year. Our kids are another year older, I am 30 (!!!) We entered our 10th year of married life, and my hubby shot the film he has been working on developing for the last 5 years. Wowee! It’s also kind of crazy that we moved into our addition one whole year ago- on Christmas Eve of 2014.

This year I was determined to write. To blog, photograph, and reconnect with my creativity. After being sick for so long in my last pregnancy, I felt like I was living in survival mode. I wanted to re-connect with life away from the porcelain throne, and holding up studs. I feel so thankful to have regained some of the creative mojo that helps me feel full. This blog is a place that I can express that, as well as the wrestling of my heart. (sounds odd but makes sense to me?)

For 2015 I chose the phrase Make Believe (you can read that post here) Amazingly 2015 has been a huge faith year for us- stepping out in faith in projects and life stuff when there really weren’t resources- yet time after time God provided.

make

v. verb
  1. To cause to exist or happen; bring about; create.

believe

v. verb
  1. To accept as true or real.

I look forward to further reflecting on the past year and also looking to the year ahead- but until that post I thought I would take a look back at some of my readers favorite posts of the year, according to stats. Thank you for joining me on this journey… thank you for your words, prayers and encouragement. On the note of your words I had a horrible realization…. I have been accidentally DELETING COMMENTS! oh no! They have been going to my spam folder… literally there are thousands of comments in there, and in the past I have trusted the filter. The other day as I was emptying my spam folder, my eyes fell upon 3 real comments right after hitting “permanently delete” I feel terrible, and am sad I have miss connecting with some of you. My apologies if you have been commenting and wondering why they never show up! I have learned my lesson, and hope to connect with you in the new year.
