Hi my friend. It’s been a little while since I have had time to blog- what a whirlwind few weeks! I had planned to share a bathroom renovation and a summer home tour (which will still be coming your way this week) but I wanted to first share the news with you that we have listed our beloved lake house for sale.
It’s been something we’ve been considering for a little while, but the pieces all fell into place and the timing feels right. We have absolutely loved our time here at the lake, and the memories we have made over the last 8 years. We have such a special community here, and it is an amazing place to raise kids. A bit like stepping back in time to when Matt and I were young… there’s a neighbourhood group of kids around, always coming to the door to ask to play- riding bikes, playing baseball at the park, going to the beach- camp outs, walkie talkie games… we will miss it!
But we know God is the author of our story- and he has a next chapter in store. We are excited to know that another family will enjoy this home. All we can do is trust the timing, and that the right buyer will come along.

To see our vision for this little cottage take shape- and we are so grateful to have called it home.

So has it sold or listed? Moving right now would be difficult. With COVID I would want new home sanitized before moving in.
Hi Rose- it is listed! Thankfully where we are Covid cases have been pretty minimal- but I can understand those feelings!

Here in TX, real estate has not slowed down a bit! House sales are cRaZy. Hope yours sells quickly. Actually, it will sell in God’s perfect timing……..
