Thrifted Finds

While you might not know it after my last post, I am still enjoying thrifting. Who knew it could be trendy… Coming from a family of 8, and having a pretty thrifty mamma myself, I remember hitting up second hand stores and garage sales through out my child hood. This is something we still enjoy doing when she comes to visit. Here are a few of my finds as of late! Enjoy πŸ™‚

You know when you spot something from across the store, and are instanly excited, but try to hide it in case someone catches on… So you make a slightly lengthy bee line to it, hoping no one notices. That is how I felt when I spotted these chairs. I was even more pumped when I saw the price tag of $3.99/piece! When I brought my prize to the till, the store clerk exclaimed “Aren’t those beautiful?! They must be from the 50’s!” I <3 that lady. These are now gracing our patio… LOVE the yellow πŸ™‚

I found these 3 little aprons to add to my existing 2, which I’d say now warrants the term collection. I love old things, especially in the kitchen- and these add a splash of color and charm πŸ˜‰

I LOVE the color of these little dishes. Everytime I look at them, something inside of me smiles. Enough said!

This was a great little quilt I found at the Sally Ann. We’ve used it several times already, for picnics and such, and its such a cute cosie little blank.

These place mats were just what I had in mind for everyday use in our kitchen… simple and cute!

And that’s it for now! If you have any goodies to show, please link up in the comments! πŸ™‚

    1. I love the chairs too! And they are sooo comfortable πŸ™‚ Space can sometimes become an issue for me… I try to cycle out things that I don’t really love…
