I dream of one day having a beautiful fireplace to adorn with seasonal displays. However, today is not that day, and TLC’s fall link up party for mantle ideas left me feeling a little out. So, I decided to decorate the closest thing to a mantle I could find… albeit it is a side table. Be sure to head over to TLC’s post for lots of amazing fall decorating ideas!
E and I picked up some white miniature pumpkins, and he gathered some leaves from outside. The boys have enjoyed crunching the leaves… and what fall display wouldn’t be complete without some wheat? This is Alberta after all!
I topped things off with a wreath I made during my summer wreath friendzy… yay! Admittedly, my “mantle” does not really compare with the linky party- but we had fun putting it together, and Baby G has enjoyed chucking the pumpkins around ever since :-/
We enjoyed a nice family visit over the weekend with my sister and her husband and little son. They are expecting baby number 2 in January, and we are SO excited for this little one’s arrival. I am thrilled to be her support person for labour and delivery, and I know she will do amazingly!! Hope you all enjoyed a warm and blessed Thanksgiving!
