The last of the leaves have nearly fallen, and we have managed to enjoy an October without any of the white stuff flying… These extra autumn days have had me enjoying hot tea, walks with my babes, and collecting an impressive collection of pine cones. My boys scavenged for cones at the park, and gave them a {pedal} tractor delivery to the front door. 
Finley enjoys re-arranging the pine cones, and showing off her strength by hauling the mini pumpkins all over the house. {pssst those white flowers are faux, from the dollar store…} 
I even added a few fall touches to the mantle… 
Did I mention how much I am enjoying our new rug? I am looking forward to cozy days and nights by the fire. I am also looking for a few good books to keep my busy over the next few months… any recommendations?

P.S.- don’t “over do’d it on the candy” like my 6 year old last year at the candy bar for his uncle’s wedding… it does not end well.
