A few weeks ago I arranged for our first official wedding of 2018! Being a farmer florist has a bit of a unique twist in that we work as best within the color pallete of the bride and groom’s request, but we don’t guarantee specific flower types or varieties. Its fun in that it really allows the bouquets to take shape, and I really get to use my creativity.
I thought I would share some photos of the bouquets with you just for fun. Some of the standout blooms in this bouquet were stock and peonies…
The bride wanted things a little bit rustic, so I went with a burlap wrap, and finished it off with a raffia tie.
For the bridesmaids bouquets we worked in some sweet william and a delicate babies breath type flower.
Aren’t these so sweet? Once I had everything finished I couldn’t help but tweak the bride’s bouquet just a teeny bit. I added in some barely colored up lilacs, and some additional greenery sprigs just to really give it that “Garden Bouquet” feel…
I love how they came together… bridal bouquets are my new favorite!
