Some of you may be familiar with the One Room Challenge hosted by Calling It Home. Participants makeover a room of their choosing over a 6 week time period. There were over 177 entries this fall- so a lot of projects to peruse. I just learned about it in the last year, and thought I would share just a few that caught my eye.
First up is this Camp Themed Play Room by Design Loves Detail. One word: Incredible.
There is a loft and a slide.
This Basement Reno by My Sweet Savannah is amazing. Of course I love the french doors and siding… but all of the shiplap, campy details and practical storage solutions also won my heart.
I adore a good Hudson’s Bay blanket… or two!
The Laundry Room Reveal over at Around the Watt’s House is so pretty!
And while it’s not quite complete- the work done so far is simply beautiful… so I had to share this beautiful bathroom from Paper Daisy Design. I can completely relate to having unfinished projects in the house… it has only taken us 3 years to do our addition. Ahem. {and it still isn’t finished!} It is a massive work load- but I know the results will be worth it. I will definitely be checking back in to see the completed makeover.
This Rustic Patio Makeover has my wheels turning for next Spring… since I do live in Canada, and lounging season in the great outdoors is most definitely over 😉 You can see the complete reveal at Table and Hearth.
I follow Kristi of the blog Making it in the Mountains on instagram. She is a fellow Albertan, and her Farmhouse Master Bedroom is just so sweet. There are a ton of great DIY projects that she incorporated into the space, like her curtains, stencilled wall and faux fireplace.
I am going to round it off with this sweet twin nursery by Jesse Coulter. It is so clean and lovely…
There are honestly so many inspiring spaces! And many that I haven’t looked through. This is such a neat challenge, and a good way to keep motivated. It also introduced me to some new bloggers… I am looking forward to poking around their sites a bit more some day soon. I hope you are enjoying the weekend… I hope to get out for a walk with the kids later this afternoon.
