I’m Going to be a Flower Farmer

Happy Saturday Morning to ya! Oh my, I am just giddy to share some exciting news. This season I am taking my passion for gardening and all things flowers- and scaling things up a bit. I’m starting a flower farm! A friend of mine (Ang is her name) and I will be growing out at her place on an 1/8 of an acre, as well as on my home plot.

We are keeping things (hopefully) manageable this season, as yes I am well aware I have a 3 month old, and she has 2 kiddos 3 & under. But, we are so passionate about growing and farming, that it will be fun work. We will get to be surrounded by flowers, spend lots of time in the outdoors, and our kiddos will get to tag along.

This season we will be opening a limited bouquet subscription, selling market bouquets and offering a la cart wedding services! Pinch me, because it’s really happening! I have spent my whole life in love with growing things, and magical gardens. So- this really is a dream come true. I’m sure you’ll be hearing much more about this all in the future.

For now, I hope you coffee is hot, and the sun shines brightly today…. one of 2 was true for me this morning, and it wasn’t that hot coffee 😉
