Gift wrap doesn’t have to be complicated or overly pricy to look thoughtful and put together. I like to buy simple papers that can be used year round, and lean towards a simple stripe, plaid or brown kraft paper. Then I wrap some hemp or cute ribbon, add a handmade pom pom and voila! A sweet little gift wrapped with care.
Black card stock and a gold pen work wonders for gift tags. I remember The Nester sharing about her hand drawn laurels last year- she even made a handy video explaining her process. It is so not about perfection… but about adding a little something extra.
Natural elements like birch bark or fresh greenery are simple ways to add an earthy, festive touch. With a 2 year old in the house, all of our bags are taped shut- otherwise she takes that as an invitation to play a little give and take with said bag 😉 I only have a few more gifts to wrap… how about you?
