You can see Part 1 here.
As promised here are the rest of the photos from my sister’s shower…. well kind of. There are a ton of photos of all of the guests, but I figured they might not want their photos all over my blog 😉 {don’t worry mom, I’ll send them to you!}
We started by re-arranging my moms living/dining room… and then we covered the tables with these fun table cloths that we borrowed- followed by popping up some lovely paper lanterns. My motto is if you aren’t sure what to do, just add flowers! Flowers make any space feel beautiful, and you really don’t need a lot. We had 1 large arrangement and 2 smaller ones, as well as some potted pink hydrangeas. Once we set the flowers out everything felt “done”My mom brought out her tea cups, as well as my grandmas cups… they were so cute! I didn’t get a great photo of this table, but we had 2 pin boards with childhood photos of the bride and groom to be…
I didn’t get a great shot of them, but I also strung a bunch of lanterns up over the dessert table… they added just the right amount of whimsy. You can see them on the left.
We played a few games- including the “Design a Wedding Dress out of Toilet Paper in 5 minutes” game… everyone was quite creative 😉 I also had a series of questions that I gave to the groom-to-be. My sister had to then answer 25 or so questions as she thought her fiancee would- for every wrong answer she had to put a gum ball in her mouth. She did really well, so I had to get a bit particular!! haha. She also got the worlds PRETTIES bow hat made out of all her bows and ribbons! I mean come on… I think she should save it for the derby…I love you sister.
