Happy New Year guys! Wow, here we are in 2019! A date that looked so futuristic once upon a time. I can’t believe next year will be 2020- so crazy! This new years was pretty quiet and low key for us- and I have to admit I was a bit tired and heavy hearted. But HIS joy comes in the morning- and I am thankful for renewed rest and focus that a new year can bring.
It brings a bit of introspection, and reflection of goals and priorities. A renewed sense of setting goals and sticking to a routine. I think the biggest thing for me personally, is getting to have rest. Rest allows me to gain new focus for the task at hand. Especially in mothering, schooling, sharing creatively, and setting goals for my business commitments.
I really enjoyed sharing here on the blog, and that has been something that has been wonderful! The spark of joy and freedom to share without over thinking analytics and subscribers and engagement. I really am so thankful for each and everyone of you!

What a year! It’s so fun to see how our home has evolved over the year, and oh my goodness that picture of little 2 month Theodore. What a dolly.
You guys seem to enjoy the home tours, and of course big projects! This year I would love to share some more of our home that I haven’t yet, continue to finish off little things from our kitchen, and work on our dining area. I want to continue to get the kids rooms in order, and make a few changes in our boys room now that they’re bigger. It’s been over 2.5 years since I set that room up for them.
I would of course, love to work on furniture makeovers and smaller diys- like simple builds and sewing stuff that has been on my list for far too long! And I am hoping to do more video content- as that is something I really enjoy!
On a personal note, I would like to dig into the word of God more- it is good to my soul.
Looking forward to seeing where this year takes us, and sharing with you along the way. Thanks for following along!

Mizzzzz ash the transformation of your house is mind-boggling, every little nook and cranny of your home has been touched in someway, refreshed and brought to life inside and out, that’s a lot of work +4 kids… maybe for 2019 could just rest for the whole year, or perhaps just a little bit more each day…🤗💞💫
