Dresser Makeover with Fusion Mineral Paint

Good Morning guys! As promised… I finally got around to snapping photos of the dresser I painted using Fusion Mineral Paint. I was sent this paint to try, and really enjoyed working with this new to me paint! I chose the color little lamb- it’s a really pretty, light grey.Little Lamb Fusion Mineral Paint | via Ashlea of This Mamas Dance

It is from the Tones for Tots line, which is aimed towards kids projects… but to be honest, they are really versatile colors for any part of your house! There are seven colors in the tones for tots line, all of which are zero VOC and have a built in top coat. This paint also requires very little prep. I’ll be sharing a step by step for using this product tomorrow- but for now we can enjoy a little before and after.Little Lamb Fusion Mineral Paint | via Ashlea of This Mamas Dance

I really love this dresser. It has beautiful lines and the legs with the little castors are my favorite. But the finish had grown tired, especially on the top. So, I gave it a little update using two coats of fusion mineral paint.Little Lamb Fusion Mineral Paint | via Ashlea of This Mamas Dance

The art above it was a really inexpensive DIY project as well. The print might actually be wrapping paper… I don’t even know?! But it was $6. I made the hanger using large paint sticks and thumb tacks. I stained them with danish oil, then drilled some holes in the ends and used hemp twine. Easy!

I love to lightly distress painted pieces… just to bring back some of the character and age. I love those little castor feet even more now.Little Lamb Fusion Mineral Paint | via Ashlea of This Mamas DanceLittle Lamb Fusion Mineral Paint | via Ashlea of This Mamas Dance

I really liked the coverage and texture of this paint. If you are unsure about painting furniture, I’ll have a step by step of my whole process on the blog tomorrow. It really is easier than you think, and furniture style paint makes it quick and painless. Have you tackled any furniture makeovers lately?
