A New Sign in the Boys Room

I am happy to say I had a wonderful time in Texas! I went down to spend some time with my sister before her wedding at the end of June. I also got to stay at my mom’s house, and we had such a good time together. I loved being there with my mom and my baby girl. It was a whirlwind- with a trip to the wedding venue, a bridal shower and dress shopping… oh and my sister’s Spring show for the Dance Company she is in! So much goodness! My flight ended up getting cancelled after several hours of delay- and rescheduled for the next day at 8 am. That made things pretty interesting- travelling with a one year old, and having to get up at 4am Alberta time… needless to say I am pretty bagged, but I can’t wait to share a few photos from her shower. I also found a dress!!!!!!! It’s the perfect shade of blush, and I have sparkly gold shoes too! I love me some glitter…

A while back my mom put together this sign for us. She was feeling crafty, and bought some paint and little wooden letters and doo dads…Originally she thought it would be fun outside, but it occurred to me that it might be cute in the boys room! So, I hung it up and this is how it looks in their camp/lake/nautical space!

Don’t mind my photos lately. I am back to working with my point and shoot because the Studio cam is on a journey in Tanzania at the moment with my bro-in-law Dan! It was the last standing camera after the Studio robbery in March 🙁 It was such a blessing to be able to borrow it now and again! What a difference a good camera and lens makes!camp sign

I hope you all had a great week! We have a busy few days ahead of us {that seems to just be our life these days} but I am looking forward to planting my garden by the weekend. It feels late because we have had such amazing weather, but I am reminding myself that is just the end of May!
