Happy Friday guys! What an odd week this has been- with the sub zero temperatures, we didn’t venture too far from home. Though I did do a little painting, and want to share a simple stool makeover with you today.
I had some paint leftover from painting our coffee bar cabinets– and decided to paint a set of 2 oak stools that I have had for a few years.
I keep them handy near the kitchen in case we need to pull up an extra seat at the peninsula. It’s funny because since finishing our kitchen, we pretty much eat there almost every night, and the dining table is more or less for school.
It’s such a sweet shade of green. I didn’t do any distressing on the stool, so it’s a nice solid color. The color is called “Lichen” from Fusion Mineral Paint.
You might also notice that the wall color is different! I recently painted the walls in the same color we have in both our living room and Theo’s nursery, Benjamin Moore’s grey owl lightened by 50%. For reference, the walls used to be blue…
I am also in the process of painting the baseboards- they are primed but need their finished coat since refinishing the floors!
Always little things to pick away at. It’s nice to start to pull this room together, and give it some much needed attention.
Hope you have a fantastic weekend!
