Jord Wood Watch and A Giveaway

When JORD contacted me about partnering with them by reviewing one of their stunning wood watches, it couldn’t have come at a better time. (get it?! #punny) My battery on my last watch died like 4 years ago… don’t judge. So since then I just use my phone as my clock, but I seriously hate having to hunt for my phone to see the time. The only clock on our main floor is on the stove! So- it is so nice to know where I am at in the day again, with my habitual glance to the wrist. The best part of today’s post though, is that I have a giveaway to offer all of my lovely readers!! Yay!!

If you haven’t noticed already, I am a pretty relaxed person style wise ( videos anyone?) I like cotton tops, blue jeans- and stick to a lot of black, white and muted pastels. I of course love beautiful wood, and use it all throughout our home- so this piece just took my breath away!

You can browse all of the beautiful watches in their online shop. When I was a teen and in my early 20’s- I realllly cared about fashion- and making a statement. Truth be told with having 3 kids I don’t have time for a lot of fuss- and need to feel ready to walk out the door in less than 10 minutes. For me that often means choosing from a few outfits in the “ready to wear” section of my closet- dry shampoo or a hat- and a pair of earrings and my watch. Bam! Conceal the bags and put some mascara on- and it’s go time. One day I will probably spend more time “getting ready” but this is just my current season of life.

I know this might seem like a strange photo- but I love the clasp on this watch! It is so easy to slip on and do up.

So, what is my review? This watch is very well made- a quality investment for sure. I think chunkier watches are “in” right now, but as a person with a relatively small wrist, the time piece took some getting used to as it is larger than other watches I have worn. I do love that I could order the watch to fit my wrist. There is a handy measuring guide to use when placing an order. There were also a few extra links included with my watch (for example if you ordered a watch as a gift, and didn’t know the size)

This watch makes me feel kind of hip… even if I’m just going for a walk with the kids in my rubber boots 😉 Unlike my wedding ring, I do remove it when I’m up to my elbows in paint!
