Relaxed Cottage Garden Table Setting

Sometimes I want to quit everything and become a farmer florist. This morning I ignored the mountain of clean laundry on my bed and spent some time wandering the yard with Fin strapped on my back, clipping flowers and arranging them until they were just so. I felt inspired to create a cottage style garden table setting, with the sweetest little cross stitched runner.

My lavender is finally in bloom, and it is simply divine.

This chandy is destined for our bedroom… but I thought it would be fun to fill it with flowers and plop it in the garden. Now if only I could find a way to transport it, flowers and all, to my room…..
