May’s Top Posts {Flavor of the Month Club}

It’s hard to believe that we are into June! At least it is hard for me to believe. Matt and I have been enjoying our little fam this month. I really missed my 3 boys, even though I was away less then a week. It’s definitely better to be together.

I am so excited about the progress we made on our family garden. Our little plot of land is feeling more “ours” this year, and for the first time, I am starting to really experience the gift it is to live on a half acre lot! Working in the dirt and mixing colors, planting seeds, and waiting for everything to grow is one of my favorite life experiences. I am in awe of all of the details and daily changes in plants. We have had some huge bees buzzing around too- collecting so much pollen! It does my heart good. {You can follow our garden progress more closely on instagram}

Speaking of bees, our very good friends had their first bees arrive over the weekend! I am so excited to taste the honey! They are so crazy and awesome for venturing into this bee charmer life. They have 4 boys- I think 10 chickens now? 2 goats, a cat and a dog. With the addition of the bees I am pretty sure that makes them some sort of farm. 😉

I have some fun things rolling around in my mind for the blog this month- and my hubby has a new camera for me to use! I am so excited! Something I so enjoy about blogging is that it’s always here for me to tweak, enjoy, and work on. Thank you for your encouragement and support!

After Saturday’s post- I heard back from several of you {I am still working on replying and am on my way! but I try to take a break from blog things over the weekend} and I just want to say- thank you for being vulnerable and sharing with me. It really means so much. God is good, he has a purpose for you. Live life courageously. Let’s keep encouraging one another in that, deal? At the start of this year I felt like God spoke “restoration” over this year. And honestly, I have seen a lot of restoration in my family. We were all quite rocked when my dad committed suicide. It shook us all to the core, and it has been a battle in many ways to keep it together. And we haven’t. That’s just the truth. But, God is restoring things, and I am so grateful. So, take heart. He is still here.

This month felt a little bit quiet, and I am not sure if I even posted a WW. Lovely limitations, that I can feel free to bend I guess. Here are the months top posts:
