I recently purchased this sweet paper roll holder from IKEA recently. It is called the “MALA paper roll.” I thought it would be handy to have around for craft paper, wrapping paper… you name it! But I wanted to personalized it a bit, so I pulled out one of my favorite minty shades of paint- and took about 15 mins to get a little crafty.
Here it is after a single coat of Country Chic Paint in Pistachio Mint.
I just love that soft minty hue. I’m pulling some pretties together to get this hutch styled for fall. It’s one of my favorite pieces in the house, and I enjoy dressing it up with a bit of seasonal decor. My jumping off point is a bowl of ripe and rosy plums.
Aren’t these colors so sweet together? I’ve decided to keep things very simple this year, and won’t be buying up boat loads of pumpkins. It’s been so hot here that we are still very much enjoying “summer” but it’s fun to create vignettes here and there. Are you transitioning your home for fall, or calling it summer until the snow flies?
