Fall Living Room Tour

Good Morning dear friends! Earlier this week I shared a look at our fireplace mantel, so today it seemed fitting to share a fall living room tour. I am currently in project mode- call it nesting- but I am working hard to tie up some of the loose ends leftover from all of our reno and build projects, and of course I need to go through every closet and junk drawer at the same time. Why do I do this when I am 8 months pregnant?Fall Living Room Tour, Cottage Style | via Ashlea of This Mamas DanceFall Living Room Tour, Cottage Style | via Ashlea of This Mamas DanceFall Living Room Tour, Cottage Style | via Ashlea of This Mamas Dance

One of my favorite things about fall has to be the vibrant color that comes out in the garden. This was my first season planting gladiolas and dahlias, which has been a welcome addition to my cut flower selection. We have nearly a dozen varieties of sunflowers growing with an amazing variation in color and size. I realized I didn’t get my garden tour up this summer- although I did grab pictures of it back in July. Perhaps I can do a little update- we shall see.Fall Living Room Tour, Cottage Style | via Ashlea of This Mamas DanceFall Living Room Tour, Cottage Style | via Ashlea of This Mamas DanceFall Living Room Tour, Cottage Style | via Ashlea of This Mamas Dance

It’s hard for me to believe that we are seeing the changing of leaves, and the cooling winds blowing in. We’ve had a fire burning in our fireplace the last few days, because I’m not quite willing to turn on the furnace. The kiddos and I have been back to school for nearly a month now, which has made summer feel a little more distant- but I am still not quite ready to say goodbye.

One thing is for certain- I have my to do list in hand and my work cut out for me to get everything checked off before we welcome our new little babe in November! I hope you enjoyed this fall living room tour, I’d love to hear how you transition your routine and home for the season.
